A sanitary void with igloos is an effective solution for creating a natural ventilation system between the ground and the building's floor, promoting air circulation and moisture expulsion.
The intervention initially involves laying a layer of lean concrete, essential for ensuring a stable base. Once dry, the igloos are installed: modular, dome-shaped plastic elements that create a ventilated cavity.
A concrete slab is then built above the igloos, ready for the installation of the final flooring.
This system improves the healthiness of the environment, protects the structure from rising damp, and ensures a long-lasting solution.
